This year we are excited to announce that Wisconsin’s very own, Tim Spransy, will be auctioning off one of his personal paintings at our Family Reunion Fundraiser.
Tim was born and raised in Southeastern Wisconsin where he pursued his love for music and art at a young age. Many of you may recognize him from his days as the lead guitar player/vocalist for the Christian rock band, Servant. More recently he served as the former full time worship pastor at Crosspoint Community Church in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin.
Upon transitioning to a focus on art, Tim has pursued his passion through a realistic style where he uses oil-on-linen to create portraits, North American wildlife, and signature hole golf landscapes.
Tim’s first encounter to Hope Street was through our Founding Executive Director and his previous neighbor, Scott Martin. Our Greenhouse for People encouraged Tim to donate his time and work to create a piece that incorporates some of our current members. Leading up to the ultimate reveal of this painting at the Family Reunion, we will be unveiling his progress on our social media platforms. Stay tuned for what will be a beautiful painting.
The goal of this painting is to help raise funds for Shechem. The price point for a painting of this caliber would be anywhere from $8-10,000. Tim’s vision is to have the original painting hung on Hope Street’s walls.
